Legal basis for contact data: Pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR) - responding to your business enquiry.
Contact form submissions are also logged and stored on our EU-based server and are accessible to the operator through an internal Client Portal for the purpose of monitoring security and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our automated systems.
Retention period for these logs follows Section 5: 12 months from initial contact, or earlier upon request.

2.2 AI Chatbot
When you interact with the chatbot on our website, the content of your conversation is processed to generate a response. We collect:
- Messages you submit to the chatbot
- Conversation history within your session (stored locally in your browser)
We strongly advise against submitting confidential, sensitive, or personal data through the chatbot interface. The chatbot is designed for general business enquiries only.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or unsolicited marketing.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
Your data is processed by the following third-party services as part of our operations:
- Make.com - Form submission data is transmitted to Make.com (EU region: eu2) for processing and routing to our internal communication tools. Make.com acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Data is processed within the European Union.
- Microsoft (Teams and Outlook)- Form submission data is routed to our internal Microsoft 365 environment for review and response. Microsoft data is stored within the European Union/EFTA region under Microsoft's EU Data Boundary commitment.
- Anthropic PBC- Chatbot conversation data is processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic is a US-based company. Data transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) incorporated into Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum, which is part of their Commercial Terms of Service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
5. Data Retention
Data collected through the contact form and chatbot is retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of your initial contact, after which it is permanently deleted.
If you wish to have your data deleted before the 12-month period, you may request this at any time by emailing hello [at] automateordie.ai. We will action your request within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking technologies.
The chatbot uses your browser's local storage to maintain conversation history within your session. This data is stored on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers unless you submit a message.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification - request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure - request deletion of your data at any time
- Right to restriction - request that we limit processing of your data
